Glass frogs are see-through frogs that are mostly green. If you look through one you might see its organs. Because its bones are green it has a lot of camouflage. Even their tadpoles are a bit see through. Their predators are birds, snakes, and mammals. Even if they are seen they can jump 10 feet high! They eat bugs and spiders that crawl along the tree branches. Some glass frogs are critically endangered on the IUCN red list! This is because humans are chopping down trees where glass frogs live.
You can have a glass frog as a pet, but you need a special requirement. They also need to house them in an enclosure that supplies plenty of space for plants and other structures that the frogs will use in captivity. They have a lifespan of around 10-14 years. If you think that they are poisonous (because they look poisonous) they are not. They are very gentle and harmless, (phew!) so no need to watch out. Sources:
