by Theo Hanson ![]() Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo, (born 12/6/94, Athens, Greece, 7 feet tall, 243 pounds) was a skinny kid as a young player for Filathlitikos, a Greek club. Later, in 2013 he got in the NBA as R1 Pick 15. Giannis, a fan favorite, was first entered in the playoffs in 2015 but averaged only 11.5 PPG (Points Per Game). In 2022 he averaged 31.7 PPG. His regular season PPGs have been 2013-2014: 6.8, 2014-2015: 12.7, 2015-2016: 16.9, 2016-2017: 22.9, 2017-2018: 26.9, 2018-2019: 27.7, 2019-2020: 29.5, 2020-2021: 28.1, 2021-2022: 29.9, and 2022-2023: 31.3. Giannis was the finals MVP in 2021, and the NBA MVP in 2019 and 2020. The power forward was in the 2021 NBA finals losing 2-0 to the Phoenix Suns, then the next game 120-100, Bucks, next game: 109-103, Bucks, next game: 123-119, Buck, next game NBA finals winner: 105-98, BUCKS! Giannis won the finals MVP, and got an awesome trophy.
