Chapter 3 “Princess breeze” A boy called in a deep Icelandic accent Breeze would never forget, “Hey Tom” Breeze said back to the boy, in her lighter accent. Tom Mall Cap was his name, and he was the son of the best cooks in the sky Queendom. Mr. and Mrs. Cap, Tom was also Breeze's best friend. “And you don’t have to call me princess,” Breeze added. “Sorry, but anyway, are you excited for your ball?” Tom asked. “I would be more excited if you were coming,” she admitted. “Guess what?” Tom said excitedly. “My mom and dad are letting me go! Now I just need to get your parents to let me in.” he said, “Well, you will be the one guest that can come uninvited, My parents said I can invite one person and I invite you.” They both screamed with joy. “Want to go to the treehouse?” Tom asked. “Yes.” Breeze answered, Breeze knew her dress would get dirty but for this she did not care… if she took a bath when she got home. As they reached the treehouse its shape was… predictable. It was crooked and very dirty, it also looked like it would not be very safe, it was wobbling in the wind. As they climbed up the ladder Tom saw a SPIDER, his weakness. At the sight of the spider he fell. Luckily Breeze stopped him with wind powers. In the end Breeze won the fight, breeze VS spider. No fight needed though at the sight of her powers he ran away. Later at the party Breeze came down the staircase and when she turned the corner, she saw her theme “snowy mountains”. She searched the guests for Tom, but he was nowhere. Then she heard a voice--Tom's! He was calling her name. But where was he? Then she saw him. Two guards were keeping him out so she came over and ordered the guards to let him in, but they would not let him. When her parents came over her mother asked, “What is it?” “These guards won’t let Tom in.” Breeze answered. “We told them.” her dad responded. Breeze was shocked, “He is my special guest” she yelled at her parents. All the guests looked at the commotion. “But Breeze he is a-" Breeze cut her mom off “-a peasant?! He is my friend. Why do you have to not let him in just because he is not in a higher class? You know I do not even want to know.” And with that she pushed through the guards and ran off, to the stepping stones. At the last one she cried, her floating hair getting low to the ground for the first time in years. The magic heroes will return… in chapter 4
