As Mark sat at his desk his eyes wandered to a picture, it was of him and his sister, Magic. He closed his eyes and sighed I need to stop thinking about Magic… Mark thought as the door opened and 2 people walked in. One was Rachel, and the other was Lisa, the librarian. “I hope it’s all right we let ourselves in” Rachel said taking a set in one of the black leather chairs and putting her feet on the table, leaning back in her chair. “It's fine” Mark said aloud but inside he would have rather had them knock. “Good” Rachel said as Lisa sat down in the chair and crossed her legs looking at Mark seriously and Mark checked his poster. Then Lisa began. “If the thief is Magic, we have evidence for and against it.” Lisa started and Mark tensed up on the topic of Magic. “I must be her.” Mark said before nodding at Lisa and she continued. “Like I was saying… I cheeked the computers… there is no evidence of her even signing up to join the school of magic… and if it is Magic…” Lisa bit her lip like she was not sure she should share this… Her attitude made Mark want to know it even more. “I looked at her birth card… And magic has an insane amount of…Magolots (Maj-oe-lot: the particles that decides how much magic you have)” Lisa paused again. “She has as much as… The gods…” Lisa said hesitantly, and Marks eyes widened. “Th-the gods?” Mark stammered, not sure if he had heard correctly. But Lisa nodded and Mark could not believe it. “And legend says, not only did the gods except magic… But they self-taught themselves. They made up each type… And they… They changed the world. There is an old legend…” she said then paused. “The chosen one will be picked by the gods at birth and connected to them she shall be. Though she alone cannot save the world. 6 more warriors will join her quest and together. They will save the world from the darkness that threatens to drown it” Lisa said as if reciting a poem. “So, you think that the thief is Magic, that she self-taught herself magic, she is the chosen one, and that she’s going to save the world?” Mark almost shouted and Lisa nodded. Rachel looked at the clock and turned to Mark and Lisa. “Ok, time to calm down. Me and Mark need to go. We will see you in the library.” she said, standing up and Mark hesitantly nodded. “good” Rachel said after Lisa nodded as well. “Come on Mark” Rachel said leaving and Mark fallowed. Rachel and Mark were walking down the hall when they heard a high-pitched voice behind them say. “Wait up!” and they both turned around to see 2 people. One was running at Rachel. “Flame! Frost!” Rachel said and flame ran into her almost knocking her over. “You show too much emotion” Frost said walking up-Frost was their resident spy-, his hands in his packets and a katana on his back. He and Flame wore the same uniform as Mark and Rachel did. Flames face reddened as she turned to Frost. “Well, you show to little emotion!” flame said then added. “Poker face” and Frost rolled his eyes at this but stayed straight faced. “Come on! Let us not be late!” Rachel said and everyone followed.
